This website is run by Style Studios ([registered business name and address to be confirmed]). We provide chair rental for independent hairdressers and barbers, and an online booking system their customers can use. When you rent a chair we collect your name, email address, telephone number, whether you are a hairdresser or barber, your business or trading name (optional), your profile photograph (optional), your services, prices and appointment durations, and your intended working days and hours. We also record the chair and dates you rent, the price, your payment reference and when you accepted our Terms & Conditions.

We use these details to provide your chair rental, take payment, send you booking and renewal emails, and create your public professional profile. Your profile is public and shows your name or trading name, photograph, location and chair, services, prices, booking hours, contact telephone number and email address, and your Style Studios Member Since date.

Card payments are handled securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details.

When you book with a hairdresser or barber we collect your name, email address, telephone number and any note you add, together with the service, date and time. These details are sent to the professional you book with so they can manage your appointment, and you receive a confirmation email. Hairdressers and barbers at Style Studios are independent businesses and are responsible for how they use your details.

When you register interest in a location or send us a message, we collect the details you give us (such as your name, email address, telephone number, preferred location and comments) and use them only to respond to you and to keep you informed about that location.

We use your data to perform our contract with you (chair rental and appointment bookings), to meet our legal obligations (for example, keeping financial records) and for our legitimate interests in running and improving our service. Where we rely on your consent, such as for optional marketing, you can withdraw it at any time.

We share data only where needed to provide our service: with the professional you book with, with Stripe for payments, and with the companies that host this website and send our emails. We do not sell your data.

• Professional profiles are deleted automatically when a chair rental ends without being renewed, including the profile photograph and services.
• Rental and payment records are kept for as long as we are legally required to keep financial records.
• Appointment records are kept for our records and to deal with any queries.
• Interest and enquiry details are kept until they are no longer needed for the location or question they relate to.

This website uses cookies that are needed for it to work, such as remembering your progress in the booking forms. If we add analytics or other optional cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.
